| How are they going to be able to keep track of how many people volunteer and if it has to be for certain organizations That is a silly idea! Is it for only US residents or people who live in California?? I heard that the new themes get announced for October Liked the what are you going to celebrate one thought that it would last a little longer like year of a million dreams seems like a lot of wrk to organinze Disneyland opened in 1955 (if I am correct ) so is this not their 55th anniversary thought that the new theme could be related to that

As has already been said, what about international visitors and how would you prove it? What counts as a community? I do a lot of what I'd term "volunteering" for this community, but it's hardly the same as someone who works at a homeless shelter. I think we were all guessing that the free entry on your birthday promotion would continue into 2010, but that's still a guess, as to date, I've heard no rumours about this at all.

| The Free Admission Ending is right on the Disney Park's Main Page. Look down in the right-hand corner. Disney Parks | Travel & Vacations | Family Vacation Getaway | Disney According to another Passporter thread, Disney may possibly be announcing their new promotion on tomorrow's Good Morning America. Rumor: Disney's 2010 celebration

| Official information from Disney on the new promotion (as announced on Good Morning America this morning): Give A Day Get A Disney Day | What Will You Celebrate? It appears that after the first of the year they will have a list of volunteer organizations that you can sign up with to volunteer your time. The volunteer organizations will be through HandsOn Network (US) and Volunteer Canada, I believe. In order to participate, you have to be a resident of the US, Puerto Rico or Canada. Once you have served your volunteer time and the organization verifies it with Disney, you will get a certificate to redeem at either WDW or DL for a one-day ticket.

| There will be next year a volunteer and get a one day one park ticket at DLR or WDW. Must be Canadian or US resident. Must register and it is only those agencies that are going to be listed o the volunteer web page. AP will get a figure and pins, an FP for up to 5 friends and the volunteer, or donate a ticket to a charity. I won't volunteer as I am disabled and do not need FP, pins and such, and am not giving to charity a ticket.

I think it's a ridiculous idea just because of all the problems listed by others, but whatever floats their boat.

| Last year Disney announced the "What will you Celebrate" promotion at the Earmarked Conference (conference for TAs). That was in September. This years conference is not until mid-November so there may be more still to come.
