Is there a 2013 Disneyland Resort Passporter in the works?

Unlike the WDW edition, DL has not been an annual update. With the addition of Cars Land (opening in June) many are hoping a new edition will appear. The last 'new' edition was 2006.

That's what I thought... 2006 being the latest. Traveling next year, I'd much rather use a Pasporter then any other guide book! Here's hopin' a new edition will come out!

Hi! Sorry I don't have a good answer for you on this! We're not actively working on it right now -- two other books need to be finished before we could return to it.

such a bummer to hear! but I'll still get the passporter envelopes... will just use teh unofficial guide for DLR this year.

can't wait to do WDW in 2012, will be giving away a lot of my hard earned money to PP again! LOL

I have good news! I was wondering the same thing since it's been a long time since they published a Disneyland version and found a pre-order 2013 publication on Chapters.com. I'd post the link but as this is my first post I'm not allowed to.
I'm not sure why it's not on Amazon or in the coming editions here on PassPorter but hopefully Chapters can be trusted. I'm planning my family's first DLR vacation for 2015 (yes, I plan waaaay in advance) and am really looking forward to this release!

Unfortunately, I don't think Chapters is correct (unless they mean that it will finally hit the market nearer to or in 2013). :

I am most positive that there will be a Second Edition of PassPorter's Disneyland Resort and Southern California Attractions before your 2015 trip , however, PassPorter author Jennifer Marx posted just a few days ago that they are not currently working on the newest edition as of right now as they have other books that need completed before they can come back to work on the Disneyland book.

Hopefully, once they have completed the books they are working on right now, they will be able to get working on it! I am anxious for a new edition as well.

Awwww, well that's really too bad. I wonder why Chapters has that up then. It sucks that the Disneyland book, that hasn't been updated in 6 years, has to be put on hold when all the other books are updated yearly. I guess as long as one is released before my trip I don't really have anything to complain about but I want to start planning now!

you can start planning now without the book, just get the fillers (the envelope packets) and then use the knowledge from the PP blog, the boards, and the *shhh* competition (bookwise)... it's what I've done the last TWO years....

Next year will be much easier with WDW...

Hoping the passporter will be done for my next trip, hopefully in Sept. 2013. I really like the layout of the passporter.
