3-D for kids?

I am assuming (you know what happens when you do that!) that all the 3-D attractions at Disneyland/WDW are "standard" 3-D and not some proprietary thing right? I am asking this because each time we have visited with our toddler the 3-D glasses are super big for her and I don't think she can fully enjoy the rides (ie Toystory mania). I was thinking I could get some kiddo 3-D glasses on line and just take them with us. Any info on this? If so, where could I get some kid sized 3-D glasses????

I did a little research on child 3-D glasses on the internet and about the cheapest, which are paper, are about 6 pair for $19.95.

One site mentioned that KMart has them for $16.34 (material not mentioned). You might want to check with KMart and see what they have to offer, the material, size for your toddler, get ideas, etc.

Another idea that would be cheaper is to use the eye glass straps that attach to your glasses that hang around your neck and over the shoulders. Cheaper yet just purchase a piece of elastic cord strap and tie it behind your head.

Make sure it has little alligator clips or similar on it so you can attach it to the ends of the 3-D glsasses loaned to you by Disney for use. Pulling it snug to take the slack out should work for this one time use.

the little kid 3d glasses at the theater work as well. they get recycled if you toss them in the bin, but most theaters say just keep them...
