Disneyland Phone Ticket

In a combination of procrastination and excitement, I decided to take a few minutes to check out ticket options on Disneyland's website. Apparently I can order a one day ticket from my phone and then get a barcode sent to it. Upon arriving at the park gates, I can then scan the barcode and a cast member will give me a physical ticket.

My first thought was, "That is so COOL!!!!!!!", but it was quickly followed by a second thought, which was, "will I run into problems doing this?"

Has anyone ever used this method for purchasing a one-day ticket? If so, did it go smoothly? I've used my phone as a ticket for planes before, but I live in an area where such things are not as common, so I worry.

Thanks!

Are you getting a discount by ordering over the phone and if not are you looking for other ticket discounts?

Basically both ways you will avoid the ticket purchase line and get into the entrance line.

If you do the phone and barcode option it will only take the cast member a few extra seconds to print your ticket in front of you at the turn gate while you wait. He/she will electronically enter and hand it back to you. There will not be an additional wait as the "attendant" is a cast member.

Remember when you change from one park to another or when you just want to reenter to get your hand stamped and to show your entrance ticket.

AWESOME... they're doing that with airline tickets now, too, and it works really well... so long as the employee knows what they're doing!

I'm just doing a one day ticket, and it didn't look like there was much in the way of discounts for that. Not having to wait in line to buy the ticket is enough of an argument, though. Thanks!
