I just booked our flight for our Holiday Vacation to Disney. We got a fantastic deal using a cash/airmile deal through Alaska Airlines arriving at John Wayne Airport
Now the REAL planning begins! I have a room held at the Red Lion (fantastic brand, btw) but would love to switch to Grand California- better start playing lotto
One thing IS certain: I will be spending Christmas in the Happiest Place on Earth

Outstanding! I'll be there the 14th to the 23rd. Maybe we'll run across each other.
I wouldn't hesitate to start another thread as the DLR forum needs all the traffic it can get, but I do think it is 60 days.

LOL! I've always said that's the only way we'd stay at a DLR hotel too!
I am so jealous! I am sure I will never visit DLR at Christmas, since we're so much closer to WDW, but one day I swear I will visit WDW during the holidays, hopefully actually ON Christmas.
Congrats!!! As much as I'd love to stay at the Grand Californian as well... I do love how you can walk to DLR from so many offsite hotels. In WDW, the convenience just isn't there comparatively. I remember one trip I looked at google maps and just picked one of the closest hotels to the crosswalk to walk over to DL. Another trip, we were sitting in the hot tub at the hotel (again offsite) and all of a sudden I noticed the fireworks from the park!
