The refurb of the ROA has started, and I found some pretty cool pictures at Disneygeek.com The series of pictures starts at the bottom and continues for a couple of pages. It's so shallow! What a great illusion it is, though. It seems so much larger when it's full, and deeper. Here's hoping for a rehab of the Island while they are at it...

They are rehabbing the island, but unfortunately it is mostly just safety stuff. They have taken out the teetering rock and filled in lots of the smaller cave spaces. And they are removing many of the rock ledges that stuck out. I don't think it's a good thing. I remember when a bump on your head or a scape on your knee from Tom Sawyer Island was a badge of courage...
