Sheraton Anaheim

Has anyone stayed here or does anyone know where it's located? I'm looking at a package trip to San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles for next year and this is the hotel listed for LA. In the details about the hotel here it says that it's adjacent to Disneyland and I wondered if anyone can confirm that or give me an idea of how long it would take to walk there from the park entrances?

Many thanks!

Re: Sheraton Anaheim

Cheryl,
I checked on MapQuest and this was the result (distance between hotel and Disneyland):

Total Est. Time: 1 minute Total Est. Distance: 0.80 miles
Looks like it is very close!

Re: Sheraton Anaheim

WOW! I haven’t heard of the Sheraton in Anaheim in a while. When I lived in orange county back in the mid 90s I was right down the street from it. So to answer you question, back in the 90s it was a pretty nice (one of the better ones) hotel. It’s located just off the 5 freeway and you can either get a taxi or a bus to drop you off at the Disney hotel, from there you can get the monorail to the park. Please understand I am doing this from memory of when I used to work at Disney back in 92. Sorry I couldn’t give you better information than that.

PS Me and the wife went to DW last December and took your recommendation on the Tonga toast, she really liked it.

Re: Sheraton Anaheim

Yes its right next door to Disneyland on Disneyland Drive just before you get to the Disneyland hotels.

I have never stayed there but it looks to be a very nice place. If I was to stay off property I would choose the Sheraton.

There is also a little gas station/convience store right across the street from this hotel. This is always a plus.
