Desert Inn & Suites?

We're heading down to Disneyland from Northern California in June the day after my daughter gets out of school for the summer. My daughter is 12 and will be bringing a friend with her this time. We've decided to stay in a family suite at the Desert Inn with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so the girls can have their privacy.

Has anyone had any experience with this hotel? I've only seen one review on it, which was good. We like the fact that it's right across the street from the main entrance to the parks, but we'd like more information on experiences with this hotel if we can get it

I've never stayed there but it is close to the main entrance and there is an IHOP very close by.

We've stayed there several times, and it's clean, the service is friendly, and the price is right. It's just your basic motel, no frills really, except for the extra space in the room, and the indoor pool was nice when the weather wasn't cooperative. The best part is the location! Unless you're looking for fancy accomidations, you'll be happy there. I know we'd stay again in a heartbeat. Have fun!

Thanks for the comments! We're really looking forward to it. I'm gonna miss staying on-site, but the girls are actually more excited about this hotel because they get their own bedroom and bathroom. My daughter is already talking about bringing her own shampoo, her own soap, etc. This will give them a little slice of independence.

Thanks again for the great comments
