Has anyone ever been to the Toontown Morning Madness? We recieved priority seating as a bonus with our package. What's it like? Is it crazy crowded? At what time does it usually occur?

Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness
As a Guest of Walt Disney Travel Company, wake up and enjoy MICKEY'S TOONTOWN MORNING MADNESS* an hour before Toontown opens to the general public. This enhanced experience offers you the opportunity to meet and greet some of your favorite Disney characters.
The Mayor of Toontown, Mickey Mouse, leads a comical ceremony in which everyone “becomes” a citizen of Toontown - and that’s when the madness begins!
Your favorite characters will be showing off their homes, playing games and getting everyone involved in their Toontown “civic duties!” Don’t forget to ask for an autograph from Mickey or some of his pals - they’re always happy to oblige!
Don't know anything about it, but it sounds like fun!
I do know DL Toontown wins hands down over WDW (my personal opinion). Walking under the train trestle and into Toontown brings a big smile to my face!
Yes, it's REALLY crazy. It's a good name for it Everyone lines up behind a rope drop and when they drop it everyone tries to throw their cert. needed to get into the event into the 1 (yes, 1) CM collecting them. The only thing open when we got in was the kids roller coaster. Roger Rabbit's CarToon Spin eventually opened about 1/2 hour after we were let in. About the same time, they have this small (ok, tiny) "parade" of characters - with Mickey as leader. Then the mayor of ToonTown gives a little speech and then says everyone will get a free pin and again everyone smashes up towards the few people with baskets to get their pins. It was crazy and I'm glad we tried it out but I don't think we would do it again.
OH, it occurs one hour before ToonTown usually opens (which I think is usually 10)
I wonder what time it will occur on our trip, as the park doesn't open until 10. It seems to me Toontown opens up with the park on these days. Hmmm...I guess we'll find out. Thanks for the info. We should be just about arriving there two weeks from this very moment! I just can't wait to see those new fireworks/parade, and all the Christmas goodies...
