And, we’re off! We leave some time late morning/early afternoon (waiting on SWA to open their dates ) for camping and NASCAR in New Hampshire. We will be gone until some time Monday, 6/30.

I was hoping to finish my video of our day in San Diego prior to leaving, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I will be taking my computer, and, while I won't have internet access, I do hope to fill some dead time by working on that video and maybe a few additional days. Since we took SO many photos this time, it is even more time consuming!! I never would have thought taking too many photos could be a problem!

"Dinner was very good ... I had a turkey sandwich with fries, Kyle’s salad and a diet Coke. I asked for honey mustard for my fries and our server brought me two different kinds, but I ended up not eating very many. In fact, I just remember being very thirsty. I know I ended up bringing half of my sandwich with us when we left, but we forgot all about it until we found it in the car the next morning. So, I ended up throwing it away. "


The photos in this post are awesome! (I'm trying to catch up with my piles of trip report reading ... I don't get to do it much, as I only take half an hour for my lunch breaks, and don't have the internet at home.)

The bit about you forgetting your saved leftovers in the car, made me laugh. There has been often a time I've done that myself, only to find the offending item a couple of days (sometimes even weeks! ) later, and wonder what on earth it is I've found, as sometimes it has rotted beyond identification .

This Diner looks like an absolutely fantastic place - I must look into going there with my bros the next time we're over - I'm sure we would all love it What you chose for yourself, sounds exactly like what I'd choose.

For once I'm itching for Monday to come round so I can continue with my reading ... I never thought I'd hear myself admit to looking forward to a Monday!

Okay! Okay! I'm slacking, I admit it!! I had all these grandious ideas that I was going to get videos done while camping, when in actuality I did none of that! Then I get caught up in reading all the wonderful TRs here on the boards (there have been so many, it's hard to keep up!!). I did work on my video a little bit last night - I opened up the file to find I had 61 completed slides! Still can't get away from that number!! I'm off to work on that video RIGHT NOW!!!
