Marnie! We were too! Quote:
Danielle! Definitely not a disappointment!Quote:
to hear you won’t be able to experience this ride again. I had heard that we should take a walk through the handicapped version, but remembered that after we returned home. Future underwater port? Are you referring to the Sea Cabs they used to have in the Living Seas? Quote:
it is!!! Cheryl!Quote:
Kenny! It was!! The upcoming dream is much better than the dream I had the other night! Quote:
Laura!! It really was! I hope you are able to get Victoria back there to experience it!Quote:

| Tuesday, February 19th - Day 5/Part 2 Now playing: We find a DREAM in Pizza Port! Tuesday, February 19, 2008 – Day 5/Part 2 We moseyed our way on over to Pizza Port, just as the line of people had already filtered inside. As we entered the restaurant, we were immediately stopped by a CM, who told us we were chosen to receive a dream! She asked us if we would like to receive service during our CS meal. We, of course, went for it. First, she took us down the line of food offerings, explained them all and then she escorted us to our table, which had a linen table cloth, napkins and silverware. Here we are after she delivered our drinks, which were served in glass! ![]() ![]() At this point, we asked her if anyone had turned her down because there were already many people inside before we arrived. She told us that we were the first people she offered it to, so that was kind of a neat feeling! The sign on our table. ![]() She took our order and served us our meal, which I found to be quite awesome! Kyle had the spaghetti & meatballs, Jeffrey had pepperoni pizza and I had the Countdown Chicken. OMG! One of the best things I had during our stay!! I’m drooling now just thinking about it.Kyle hammed it up with the sign once he finished lunch. ![]() Our server presented us with our check and we settled the bill. It was nice to feel special and all during lunch, but in the end, we ended up spending more than we would have if we just went with the CS meal, as we then felt obligated to tip our server! It was still fun and we would definitely take a CM up on this again, if it were offered to us. We didn’t have to wait in line for food or to pay, we didn’t have to walk around aimlessly searching for a table and it really did make you feel like someone special. Anyway, after we fueled ourselves with lunch, we were off in search of fun. We headed over to Autotopia to make use of our FastPasses there. We each had a car of our own and we zoomed around the track. For some reason I got off much later than Jeffrey & Kyle and Kyle managed to get some horrid photos of me! I must have been stuck in traffic or something! ![]() After cruising around, we decided to take a ride on the train. We headed to the train station in Tomorrowland, did a complete 360º around the park and then another ½ as we got off in New Orleans’ Square. (There are 4 stations in DL as opposed to the 3 in WDW.) We found the train to be much better at DL! The area between Tomorrowland and Main Street is absolutely AMAZING! I think they call it the Grand Canyon diorama and, boy, is it incredible! Definitely not the shoebox kind children make in school. They ask you not to take flash photos and the photos I attempted to take without the flash while we were there, didn’t turn out very well. I did manage to find a video of that portion of the ride on YouTube: Disneyland Train We were able to see that portion of the ride twice, as we didn’t get off until we reached New Orleans’ Square the second time around. From there, we went to Adventureland and got FastPasses for Indiana Jones Adventure. We then backtracked into Critter Country to take a Spin on the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. ![]() ![]() We checked out the gift shop, but none of us bought anything. ![]() We walked around the area a bit and found these familiar faces. ![]() We decided not to ride Splash, since we had heard it was very similar and we really didn’t want to get wet, as it wasn’t all that warm. As we exited Critter Country, we saw the rafts to Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, so we decided to see if we could find us some treasure. Up Next: Will our treasure hunt be successful??

Again there is so much more ope land scape at WDW to see whilce on the trian.

Marnie! Quote:
Danielle! It was news to us too, as we’d never heard anyone getting that before. Maybe it was something new they were trying out? Quote:
Todd! You’re certainly right about the additional space at WDW! I’m sure it helps make getting around a lot easier for you too!Quote:
Cheryl! We laughed a lot!Quote:
Sharon!! I had forgotten all about the dioramas. They really are amazing!Quote:
Kenny! As my father would say, it was much better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!! ![]()

| Tuesday, February 19th - Day 5/Part 3 Now playing: Will our treasure hunt be successful?? Tuesday, February 19, 2008 – Day 5/Part 3 ![]() We boarded our raft and headed to Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island in search of treasure. Like WDW, the journey was short and we were there in no time. Now, I know WDW doesn’t have the Pirate’s Lair overlay, which was absolutely incredible, but I don’t think the caves are as elaborate as the one’s in DL. It’s been a while since we’ve been over there – like, say, 10 years!! The themeing here was unbelievable. The first thing we ventured into was Dead Man’s Grotto. ![]() There were all sorts of signs and things popping out. I remember laughing A LOT! Here is Jeffrey & Kyle playing with dead man’s chest – I think there was some kind of sign telling you not to touch it. Of course we touched it – I remember it glowing a bright red. Very cool! ![]() We came out in this area, with all sorts of neat stuff to do. The boys had a ball playing around here. We saw a clue that we could pump for treasure ![]() So they did! ![]() Buried treasure?? ![]() Some of the loot we found! ![]() The boys decided to play a little in here ![]() Then I asked them to reenact the scene They were very willing today!![]() Note all the children around them while they are trying to solve the next puzzle… ![]() Buried treasure?? ![]() More loot and a dead guy for us! ![]() ![]() Kyle went off to do something, while Jeffrey stayed to ‘help’ some more kids! I think he was having just as much fun as they were! ![]() ![]() Once I was able to drag him away, we crossed the bridge and found more caves to explore ![]() We had so much fun exploring every little nook and cranny. And, believe me, some of those crannies were pretty small! At one point, a bunch of us were going up one to get out, while a parent sent her small child squeezing down past us. She then proceeded to get upset that she couldn’t get to her child, as she had gone running off deep inside the cave and we were blocking the stairway down. She stormed off, while half of us went up and the other half back down. We had reached the other side of the island and we were rewarded with a great treasure for our efforts! ![]() We packed up our loot and headed back to the raft area, stopping at Tom Sawyer’s tree house first. They boys went up to check it out. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When we arrived at the dock area, we had just missed some kind of pirate show. Jack Sparrow went running past us and jumped onto a full raft that was leaving. He was totally in character! We boarded the next raft back to Adventureland. The Columbia was anchored off to one side. She is only used for cruises around the Rivers of America on busy days. ![]() Loot secured, we went in search of more fun!! Up Next: More fun!!

| That looked like so much fun. I think it would be wonderful if they did something like that at WDW. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
