| (This is my first time to post a TR, so please bear with me!!!) Who: DH (42), DS(12), DD(8), DS(5) and myself Staying at Grand Californian We drove in from San Diego this morning (flew into SD to see my sister graduate from SDSU!!!) and arrived early this morning and checked in,but had to wait for our room to be ready. So we went to DTD and walked around. We ate at ESPN Zone. Good food and awesome atmosphere! We sat where we could see the big screens. It was interesting keeping up with who was watching what! After eating we went to the Lego store. DSs wanted the new Indiana Jones sets. We told them we would come back later because I didn't want to have to carry them. Walked down to WOD and started shopping. DD needed a jacket because she was cold! (when we left Texas it was 85 and humid...It is 70 and awesome here!) DH and I got caps (his Goofy and mine Grumpy), Oldest DS got a new pin and youngest DS got a small stuffed Mickey. We headed back to the hotel and said we would just hang out if our room wasn't ready. Low and behold, it was ready and we went straight up. Called Bell Services and had them deliver our bags. When the CM brought the bags, he talked and asked if we had any questions. He answered the few questions DH had and bid us a "good stay". We went to Whitewater Snacks. I got a coffee and a MM ricekrispie treat. The rest of them got MM pretzels. DH told me to see about getting a massage at the Mandara Spa since we weren't going into the parks tonight. I called and set up an appointment for a stone massage. Never had one, so I thought I'd try it. Had a Balinese Massage with Stones added in. It was HEAVEN! I so didn't want to get off that table when she was done. Tonight we ate at Tortilla Joe's. DH had the burrito, DSs had chicken fingers with beans and rice, DD had beef nachos and I had the beef faijitas. Everything was wonderful. The handmade tortillas were awesome and the faijitas were out of this world! Well, it has been a long day, so I'm off to the shower and hit the hay to prepare for another wonderful day tomorrow! |

| The Grand Californian AND a Balinese stone massage at Mandara - I am so envious - hoping to do both at Christmas. Loved Tortilla Joe's, too. Can't wait to go back. Tell us more!
