Hi there, Rich at the helm this time. We were last seen in the "Big Kahuna Family’s Welcome Home" trip report. Now we’re headed back. Last time we stayed at Paradise Pier Hotel. This time we’re moving on up to the Disneyland Hotel. This trip we’re focusing on my birthday, an Angels baseball game, and the attractions we missed last time, along with our favorite snacking options. And we can’t forget the requisite trip to the beach.

Here's the plan:

Day 1
Morning: Leave Home
Afternoon: Check in at Disneyland Hotel; Neverland Pool
Evening: Disneyland Park: Fantasyland

Day 2
Morning: Disneyland Park: Tomorrowland & New Orleans Square
Afternoon: Neverland Pool
Evening: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Baseball Game

Day 3
Morning: Disney’s California Adventure
Afternoon: Corona del Mar Beach
Evening: Disneyland Park: Main Street, Frontierland, and Adventureland

Day 4
Morning: Drive Home

Thanks everybody! We're excited about it and can't wait to go again. The Angels will be playing another one of our favorite teams from our NW days - the Mariners. Go ANGELS!

How long is your drive from Vegas?

Driving in daytime traffic, it takes us about 4 hours. Driving home in the middle of the night takes us a little over 3 hours.

And that's why we're going every 3 or 4 months. We've already got the December trip booked and we haven't even taken the September trip. LOL!

I'm only about 1 hr 1/2 away so I have to fight the urge all the time.... My BF who isn't into Disney complains I go too much as it is......

Oh no! A BF who doesn't love Disney.

I grew up about 8 miles from Disneyland. Recently, Rich and I lived about 3 miles from WDW and we went way too often, if you can believe that's possible.

BTW, I love your sig line! How did you do that?

Sorry it took me so long to get here.

I can't wait to hear all about this trip and it's not that far away--at least not as far as December and my next trip to WDW! That one's shaping up, too, but it's a bit early for a pre-trip report!
