| WOMBAT IN ANAHEIM - COMPLETE 8/21/09 Hey all! Coming out of lurk mode to announce the newest trip report from Wombat & family! This trip is a little different. For one, it's to California, not a WDW/Cruise combo. Second, we're not primarily there for Disney -- the first half of the week is spent at an incredible singing competition with my chorus, the Vocal Majority. But don't worry -- we spend oodles of time exploring both DLR parks, and even (as you might spot from my avatar) get to eat at the exclusive Club 33! As usual, I'll be writing in a sort of "you are there," present-tense format, so you can enjoy it as if you're along for the ride. I'll post some pictures with the entries, and then load the full day's pictures when that day's "reporting" is done. This trip report should be slightly less detailed than previous ones. For one thing, the last one took about four months to write. I was also busier this time, at least early on with the chorus, and took fewer notes. Hopefully I'll still be able to crank out an fun report. Enjoy!

| Thanks, all. Oh, yes, plenty of competition details, though I'll spare you minute by minute details of the nine hours of chorus rehearsals before the competition itself!

| I once knew of a singing Wombat but that was the past. Usual top notch report. If you were my friend from the past I would say I am so sorry to have missed your concert. I used to love reading your trip reports by the way if you are that old friend.
