LIVE from SAN DIEGO,CA

We arrived yesterday & drove down to San Diego for a few days before heading up tp Disneyland. Today we spent the day at Seaworld. Saw the 2 Shamu shows, the dolphin show, seal shows. Rode Journey to Atlantis about 5 times. At first I was disappointed becasue I thought it was going to be like the one in Orlando. But it grew on me more & more. San diego version is more like a roller coaster water ride. Got quite wet as well as on the River rapid ride. Weather was very warm & humid today but a nice breeze to help out. We left for a few hours , returning in the evening for the nite shows ... really loved them. Evening was very cofortable weather wise. Tomorrow we will go to the San diego zoo. I have not been there or to seaworld San diego in 20 yrs.

Nice that you're having such a great time and awesome weather! We love Seaworld (like Marineland better, but that's another story); SD Zoo is incredible. Have fun! Can't wait to see a TR!

yesterday we spent a good portion of the day at the San Diego Zoo. I had not been there in 20 yrs & I did remember some parts of it. Definately love the fact those buses are there now. I think we walked the whole thing way back in 1987. I have to say my favorite were 2 polar bears who put on a very entertaining show playing.
Today we did the Trolley tour, spending a good portion of the day on the USS Midway. Then we did the Seal tour, then back on the Trolley for the rest of the tour. Probably should have done 2 day on the trolley instead of 2 days at Seaworld. But live in and learn. We may just decide to go back to Balboa Park or the Beach during the day & head to Seaworld in the late afternoon/ Evening. Then its up early on SUnday to return the car to the Airport & take the shuttle to Disneyland.

Home at Last.... and really tuckered out. We were suppose to get home Friday Morning on a red eye flight. But due to massive thunder storms in Denver that delayed everything there ( except our connection to Hartford) we were forced to cancel & rebook our flight to the following day. Leadin me to "quote" part of the ghost host from the Haunted mansion........"WHICH OFFERS YOU THIS CHILLING CHALLENGE..... TO FIND A WAY OUT. But we did get home & this morning I woke up with a sore throat and though that is gone now I am feeling very tired & achy. It might be jet lag, it might be 10 days of on the run with 3 boys, I am in denial its the flu as it is very rare for me to get sick. But if it is at least it waited to when I returned home.
