| City Pass the cheapest?? We are planning a trip to Disneyland during the first week of October (2007). I have been searching the internet for "deals" on theme park tickets and am getting very confused!! We are planning to go the these places: Disneyland (3 days), Universal Studios, Sea World, Legoland. Is my best (and cheapest) bet, to buy the "City Pass" from Costco and then use a $8 off coupon off for each of us to Legoland?? Or are there sites where I can buy the tickets cheaper?? Any advice would be welcome .... |

| I've been checking around for friends who are coming in to town as well and as long as you go to Sea World that is the best price. We don't have any So Cal specials right now that I have seen and the only discounts for DLand tickets is prepurchasing them online. Since you are adding the other two parks then you will save some money over purchasing them separately.

| Welcome to the boards! AND to the DL: Southern California Attractions forum! ![]() Even though you aren't planning on going to the San Diego Zoo (which is one of the options), the CityPass does appear to be the way to go. ESPECIALLY if you are buying the ones from Costco. ![]() Look at it this way: Purchasing tickets separately: 3 day Disneyland park hopper = $159/adult - $129/child 1 day Universal Studios = $61/adult - $51/child 1 day Sea World = $57/adult - $47/child That totals out to $277/adult and $227/child. The SoCal CityPass (WITH San Diego Zoo admission in it) is regularly $235/adult and $189/child! The SoCal CityPass through Costco is currently (online) $205/adult and $165/child . . . that's a pretty hefty savings off of the ala carte ticket prices and a good savings per CityPass if you go through Costco. So, I would definitely go that way. ![]() Then is you use the coupon you have for Legoland, it should be something like $49/adult and $36/child for those tickets. ![]()

| I've been pricing them as well, and the Costco is the cheapest and I was wondering if the best. Thank you so much for posting all of this. It came in handy, and saves me a lot of time.

| We did the CityPass a year ago, and even though we did not use every option (we skipped the Zoo), it was definitely the cheapest route, especially when you purchase the CityPass from Costco!
