It really looks like an awful fire. They say that it may have even gotten to the fault that holds a lot of old movie things.

Thankfully no one was hurt as it was before opening hours but we have been watching video and it looks like a lot of damage was done...so much was lost that cannot be recovered....

Latest update we saw is that King Kong was lost, NY backlot and the town square from Back to the Future (the clock tower) - it also reached the vaults, but nothing that was lost was (according to them) "irreplaceable".

But - they went ahead with the MTV music awards in the Ampitheater.
