CBS Television City?

Hey, I've always wanted to be at CBS Television City in Hollywood, and be in the audience for The Price Is Right, and take a tour of some of the old sets.

Has anyone gone to CBS Television City? What tours do they offer, if anything? And is CBS Television City accessible via public transportation from the Disneyland area?

I haven't actually been to the CBS Studios but have been right next door (they are located right next door to the LA Farmer's Market and The Grove shopping center/mall) . . . the lines/crowds outside to get in for The Price is Right were INSANE.

Unfortunately, they don't offer public tours of the studios. They do offer free tickets for the tapings of all of the shows they film there with the exception of the soap operas (The Young & The Restless and The Bold & The Beautiful).

Here's a page I found with some info on the taping tickets that might help a bit:

Tapings at CBS Television City

As far as transportation from Disneyland . . . aside from taking a MetroLink train from Anaheim to LA Union Station then transferring to a city bus or 3 (or more) to get there, I honestly don't think there is really any EASY way to get there. Driving yourself would be about the easiest way to go in that situation.

The studio is located at 7800 Beverly Blvd. (at the corner of Beverly and Fairfax) in LA.

OMG... I haven't been to TV City since I was a kid (about 10). It was a family vacation to LA/Hollywood. I do remember my family getting pulled aside and asked if we would be part of a test audience. That was fun. We had the buttons to push when we found something funny during the show or didn't like something. I'd love to go back sometime now that I have a family of my own.
