| 2009 Southern Cali City Pass DH and I are thinking of taking a trip to DLR during one of my "forced vacation weeks" this summer. We wanted to spend some time at the DLR then drive to San Diego for the remainder of the week. I was looking into the City Pass because it covers a lot of what we would want to see. Is this a pretty good deal? I did the math with the prices posted online for tikets and it looks like I would save about $87/person, however I don't know if I should look for other possible discounts. TIA!! |

| I definitely think it is a good deal if you plan on taking advantage of each of the admissions on the ticket. ![]() I thought about getting the City Pass last time I was out but wasn't going to use the Sea World portion of the ticket, so opted not to get it as it wasn't going to be a very good deal when it came down to it. My parents planned on going to all of the places last summer and once we crunched the numbers (sales tax and all) it really ended up being a better, more affordable option for them. ![]()

| I used it a couple of years ago, and it was great. The convenience and the savings was well worth it. Feel free to email me if you have any questions

| Thanks for the input. The only thing that is make or break for us is the three days at DLR. We don't know yet if we want to be there for three days. Since we don't have children we tend to blow through disney parks fairly quickly. However having the option to do so is nice too. |

| I think it is a good value if you are going all of those places anyway. We have annual passes to Disney so we can't really use it but we have used that pass for family members before. Enjoy your trip. We are doing DL and San Diego for Spring Break this year.

| It is still an option, but DH is thinking that he only wants two days in DL and wants to nix sea world. With that said I think we will just get day passes. We are also thinking of getting the Go San Diego Card for when we go there and just get a day pass from AAA for Universal. The cost comes out to just abou the same, but the options are better for us. |
