| Universal Studios...where to stay Hi all! It's been awhile since I've been here. Everyone was so helpful and it was fun to share my experience when we went to Disneyland for the first time this past February. Well, we're heading back down to the LA area again, and will be going to Universal Studios. The kids don't know. We're not telling them until we get there. So, in my planning, I'm trying to see where there is to stay. Sure, I can surf the net all day, but really want a real review from someone that's been there. I'm looking for something mid price range. It doesn't have to be right there next to Universal. However, I want something safe and clean! Also, I'm trying to talk DH into making it a longer trip and driving down to San Diego for a day at Sea World. We'll only do one day there. I'm sure it's fun, but don't think it's anything we will do for a couple of days. Does anyone know of a moderate place to stay there? Thanks to everyone in advance for your advice/sharing your experience! Liz

| not sure your price range, but we stay in studio city at the days inn which is affordable with AAA rates. its very close about 2 miles or so from universal, also 2 doors down is sportsmens lodge, which we loved, and has a free shuttle to universal.  |
