| We leave in the morning for Southern Cal. I need a touring plan for a family of 5 (H37, W37, DS7, DS5, DD1). We plan on being there all day on Wednesday (July 22). I've procrastinated and dont' have time to buy any books, do any of you have a plan for me? |

| Really, I'm not sure you even need a touring plan for a visit mid-week. We were at Legoland a month ago, and the crowds were a bit heavy on Sunday but not as bad on Monday. The key issue will be the height restrictions that will affect your 1-year-old -- there will be some rides that she'll need to skip. The park has a 1-page sheet called something like "What to Do When You're Under Two" that lists what she will be able to do. (The information on restrictions should also be on the Legoland website.) With young kids, I'd probably start with Fun Town and Miniland on the left side of the park. If you get to the park near opening, you should be able to do most of the rides fairly quickly. Then you can just work your way around the park. Alternatively, you could head for Land of Adventure first to do the new Lost Kingdom Adventure ride (similar to the Buzz Lightyear ride at Disneyland and Walt Disney World) -- that was my favorite, and the only one where we waited for more than 10 minutes, but it does have a 34 inch height requirement. I think if you get the "lay of the land" on the web site and decide what to prioritize, you'll be fine. We spent 2 days at Legoland, but most of our second day was revisiting attractions and visiting the SeaLife Aquarium. Have a great trip! Melissa
