What is the scoop on Knott's Berry Farm?

I have heard only bits and pieces about this park. Can anyone give me a good idea of what it offers and what ages it best suits? Is it worth the time and money? I have heard Camp Snoopy is good for little kiddos.

Knotts is famous for its chicken dinners!!!

I am serious.

It has some roller coasters and all that. But I am so heavily into
Disney that I have not been there in years.

But Knotts has been around a lot longer then Disneyland
and you might want to at least take a look.

But I would recommend that if you like chicken you have dinner there. I don't think you have to pay park admission to eat.

Have fun. Oh and Knotts is very close to Disneyland.

Also in Los Angeles is Universal which I also love.

Camp Snoopy is fun for little ones, but we found the lines really long, and only one person operating/crowd controlling each line.
The chicken dinner is yummy, and there are lots of big, scary rollercoasters for thrill-seekers.
It's not Disney by any means, but it is fun.

I think it might be fun for little ones, and it's cheaper to get into than DLR. I'm so used to Disney, I find it lacking in cleanliness, and it ends up really bothering me. Camp Snoopy is really cute. I don't like the thrill rides, California Screamin' at DCA is my limit. Some of the other rides at Knott's are really cheesy. But I do like Boysenberry, and I'll drive up just for the chicken dinner! Funnel cakes with Boysenberry is yumm, plus the Boysenberry punch.

Stay away from the Ghost Rider-- the wooden roller coaster.... I rode it recently and man it was so bumpy--my neck hurt afterwards....
