In October 2010, my daughter and I are taking our first trip to DisneyLand. We will be spending 3 days at DL/DCA. Then 1 day at either Knott's Berry Farm or Universal. Then we are driving down to San Diego for the Zoo, the Wild Animal Park and Sea World. We are big coaster fans. We like Disney well enough, but we also love amusement parks with regular coasters. As an example, we consider Big Thunder Mountain Railroad practically a kiddie ride. I've checked out both websites and KBF seems like it has more thrill rides. Has anyone been to both? And which would you suggest?

Knotts Berry Farm has more thrill rides than Universal. . . also, Knotts Berry Farm is closer to Disneyland. . .just up the road. You will need a car to get to Universal . . . it's about 45 minutes away . . . If you are staying in Anaheim and planning to go to Sea World in San Diego, Knotts is better. Universal is further north. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I thought we'd be better at Knotts Berry Farm. We're only staying in Anaheim for the length of our stay in Disney/Knotts, then we're getting a hotel in San Diego for a few days.
