| I have always stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Jupiter St. It is right off of Interstate 8, near the San Diego Sports Arena (now known as the iPayOne Center). Only about a mile (if that) from Sea World and an easy 10 minute or so drive to the Zoo. ![]()

| I just had to check the website -- we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Mission Bay in Feb 09. It was a short drive to SW, downtown and zoo, and an easy drive in from Legoland. The rooms had recently been redone and breakfast was great. But it's on a small piece of land on a hill -- a bit hard to find. And the parking is a garage under the first level of hte hotel, which was a bit tight in a rental car we weren't used to.
