| Old Town & Old Town State Historic Park in San Diego Many passporters on vacation traveling between San Diego and Sea World San Diego have ocasionally been advised to visit Old Town San Diego but by pass it. If you have been there did you venture outside the shops to see the mission and Old Town State Historic Park? You can miss it and it is only a few hundred feet apart. You will pass Old Town on your way to Sea World and Old Town is only about 3.5 miles from Sea World or about 4.4 miles from downtown San Diego. See Old Town before you leave San Diego. | We spent 8 days in San Diego and loved Old Town State Park. It is worth a visit. It's a wonderful city with tons to do and see!! We barely scratched the surface and wished we had more time there.
