| San Diego tour question I've been looking at harbour cruises in San Diego and was about to buy tickets for the two hour cruise, when I noticed a website for San Diego Seals. These seem to be very similar to the Duck tours in many cities, in that some of the tour is on land and some of it is in the bay and it lasts 90 minutes. They both seem to operate similar hours during the day. Does anyone have experience of either a harbour cruise or taking the San Diego Seal tour? I really can't make up my mind which one to do now. | Re: San Diego tour question I haven't had any experience with either of these tours either but I just wanted to thank you for the heads up about the San Diego Seals tours. We're planning on spending some time in San Diego and this sounds like it's well worth looking into. Joy |

| Re: San Diego tour question I have never done the Seals tour, but have been on MANY a harbor cruise (we always have used Hornblower). I have always had a great time on the Hornblower cruises, but last time, saw the Seal tour and wanted to do it (but couldn't convince my parents to go! ) Next time I would definitely try the Seal, mostly because it has the land portion with narration, and the harbor cruises mainly focus on what's right close to and on the Bay. Give the Seal tour a try (and let me know how it was when you get back ) |
