| Candy Cane Inn We are staying at the Candy Cane Inn during our upcoming trip to DLR. Are there any rooms better than others? Does any room offer a better "view" of anything? I just want to be prepared and make a request if I need to. How far is the walk to DLR Main Gate? Does the shuttle run well? Has anyone taken the shuttle before? Any information is most appreciated. | Re: Candy Cane Inn It's a short walk to the crosswalk that takes you onto Disney property -- maybe a minute or two. Then it's a few minutes walk down to the decision point between the entrance to Disneyland and California Adventure. In total, I'd guess it'll take you 10 minutes or less, depending on how you "hit" the light. (That light is a looooong one!) Eileen |

| Re: Candy Cane Inn I didn't actually ride the shuttle when we stayed there, but it seemed to be very prompt. Every half hour on the dot pretty much. As far as room requests, a couple of the rooms face Harbor Blvd. and are quite noisy. When we checked in, the lady at the desk advised us to wait for the next room available, so we wouldn't have one facing the street. We loved the Candy Cane Inn! |

| Re: Candy Cane Inn We are booked in to stay at the CCI in December because of all the great reviews that I have seem on various web sites. Trip advisor for instance rated this hotal the best in 2005. We have also heard great things from family and friends who have stayed there too. Have fun |

| Re: Candy Cane Inn You will love it. We stayed here a few years back and it's my favorite Good Neighbor hotel by a long shot!! As far as room request, I found the sound control here to be VERY good. Our room was right next to the housekeeping storage area and I was afraid we would hear them bright and early getting their stuff together, but we didn't hear a peep. The grounds here are gorgeous. You will smell the flowers as soon as you get out of your car/off the shuttle. It's a great first impression. We also found the free breakfast nice - small, but ample, fresh variety. Enjoy! |

| There are nice, big corner rooms that face out onto Harbor. They're gorgeous but NOISY, so if you're looking for quiet, hightail it out of those ones! Other than that, we've stayed upstairs and down, front and back and never had a poor room. As for views, you've got your parking lot, your swimming pool and your hotel office - it's one view no matter what room you're in! lol Have fun! The down comforters and the cool shutters are my favorite parts of staying at the Candy Cane! --L

| I just stayed there on Wednesday for the first time (the last part of my CA trip in Anaheim will be elsewhere). I REALLY liked the CCI. The room was huge, the bathroom was huge, the beds comfy, free wireless. Staff was friendly, breakfast wasn't too bad - I would stay there again. You are looking at about a 10 minute walk to the park, I timed it several times (that one light is pretty long!)
