In the interest of keeping threads linked, I have another request for Residence Inn information. There are two Residence Inns in the area. The first the Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate and is closer to DLR. The second one, the one I'm interested in, is south on Harbor Blvd., near the Hyatt Regency. Any information on either would be appreciated, I'm sure! FWIW, a rather picky friend of mine stayed in the Residence Inn Anaheim (not Maingate) and raved about it. She insisted that we have to try it. She claimed that the breakfast buffet was decent and the rooms very well appointed. I'm out of my element here, but there are going to be six of us in July, so we have to get a suite, and I'm just not feeling the $550 a night for a suite at the DLH when I want to do the Fantasmic! dessert buffet, the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour and the Napa Rose and Vineyard Room.

We stayed there this past Febuary and really enjoyed it. The hot breakfast buffet is great. As for the walk to the park it took us with two kids 4 and 6 about 20 minutes to the gates into the park. I liked the walk and found it on the way a great way to get the kids excited and on the way home a great way to wind down. The ART does stop at the hotel but we never took it. Anyways if you have any question please just ask. We had a one bedroom suit.

Oh yeah if you love to swim the pool is bathtub warm. The rooms were really clean and the maids even ran the dishwasher for us everyday if we had anything in it. Even just a glass or two. The only complaint I had was the people above us were really loud and I called and complained to the front desk as it was 11:30 at night and the noise stopped instantly so you know they take care of the guest. I would have no trouble staying there again. Although part of me wished it was just a little closer. Again if you have any question just ask
