| Need help with resort.... My DH and I are planning our 5 year anniversary trip to Disneyland and the surrounding area. We don't want to stay in a Disneyland hotel because it's more money than we care to spend. Does anyone have a recommendation on a Good Neighbor property? We were looking at the Portofino Inn and Suites. Any suggestions on any hotel you've been to? We know everything about Disney World, but with Disneyland we are clueless. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. We did order the Passporter for Disneyland, but it hasn't arrived yet. Thanks again!!! |

| Re: Need help with resort.... The Portofino is nice - although I think we somehow got an upgraded room. It was absolutely huge and it had a walk out balcony with sliding door. We loved it. The pool was small, but there was one. The Jolly Roger is owned by the same people, and you can walk across the parking lot and use their pool if you want (it's much bigger) The Portofino does have a jacuzzi, too. Another great option would be to get a room (or suite) at the Candy Cane Inn. This is my favorite good neighbor hotel. They have their own free shuttle to DL, too. The rooms are so cute with comforters and wooden shutters. And the grounds are beautiful. Tons of hanging, blooming plants. |
