| i stayed there for 5 nights or so. i slept there. that's all i can tell you, my days were spent across the street. not sure what you should ask for or expect beyond that. it's not a disappointment in that respect.

| We have stayed there many times and are going back to the Tropicana next week (March 27th -31st). All of our rooms have been clean and comfortable. The rooms with 2 queens seem to have a little more space but if you like a big bed, the king rooms are fine. The only difference in location to us is that the rooms on the lobby side upstairs are a little bigger and have an interior hallway and stairs to access them most quickly vs. the opposite side rooms being a little smaller, outside hallways and a closer elevator. There is a frig and microwave in every room. The breakfast room is on the 3rd floor. There is a coffee counter and mini mart on site plus McDonalds, Mimi's Cafe, Ihop, Denny's and a few others are within walking distance. Our favorite part is how close it is to walk to and from the DLR and you don't have to wait on a shuttle. Enjoy!

| We enjoyed our stay there, found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, but would not do the complementary breakfast again. The muffins were moldy and you had to pay for milk. We'd happily stay there again though, as the breakfast was our only complaint and easily remedied.

| Well now that I ahve stayed there... I would stay again. I had a really nice room in the front with a balcony. You could watch folks walking back their hotels. It was very quiet, very clean. And you sure can't beat the fact that it took 5 minutes to walk to Disneyland. I usually made coffe in the room & bought one at Mimi's or elsewhere. The Complimentary Coffee & muffins did not look very appealing , coffee was so-so. Plus it wsa just easier to get one on the way. I would recommend this Place to anyone looking for a close walk to the parks

| Thanks for letting us know you had a good stay, coffeechef. Never stayed at this particular good neighbor hotel before, but it sounds like a good one.

| Tropicana Inn Questions For those that have stayed at the Tropicana can you tell me if it has private balconies in each room. It looks like it in the photos. I am not debating between this hotel, the Carousel and the Camelot. Such a big decision and I can't seem to decide!

| I don't think there are. The room we stayed in had no balcony at all, and an inside hallway. Our friends traveling with us were across the parking lot in the other building and their room had a common balcony/walkway on the outside.

| Most of the rooms do not have a private balcony. I had a King Room & had a balcony that faced the street. It appeared that only about 10-15 rooms might have a private balcony.

| Well... I finally made my decision after looking at all the reviews! We booked into the Tropicana Inn for November. I am excited that this decision has finally been made!

| We stayed at the Tropicana Inn the week before Memorial Day weekend - room 393. We were on the right side as you're facing the hotel from Harbor Blvd (opposite the lobby), all the way in the back - outside hallway, overlooking the pool & parking area - no balcony. In terms of room size/amenities - it was a cross between value & moderate, IMHO. 2 queen beds, large dorm fridge & small microwave & single sink vanity outside the bathroom (which had a shower/tub combo). Entertainment center w 3/drawer dresser, a desk w/chair and small table with 2 easy chairs next to the window. The windows were screened & did open, tho we didn't try ours. We did have some difficulty getting the room cool enough for our tastes, despite the nice temps outside. We didn't try the pool: it was pretty busy one evening - tho by the 10:00 closing time, things had quieted down quite a bit. We didn't notice any noise issues other than the pool - no turbo-flushes from next door like at the All-Stars! The housekeeping was just fine, IMHO, but I'm not a clean freak. The hospitality lounge/ "free breakfast" was nothing much at all - sweet stuff (muffins & donuts) were complimentary, everything else (cereal, beverages, bagels) were $1 each. You're better off making a grocery stop beforehand. The laundry room has 3 washers & 2 dryers - fairly cheap ($1/wash load & $1/60 min drying time, which should be sufficient for anything except jeans/towels) - but very busy once the park closes. We did get the pizza from the restaurant one night - it was typical convenience-store takeout - not as good as Pizza Hut/Papa John's. Oh - no Weather Channel on the TV & it can be tough to figure out the local forecast for Anaheim based on the morning news. The free newspaper was just about as much help.
