Anyone stay at the Jolly Roger Hotel?

I was thinking of staying at the Jolly Roger Hotel because it looks pretty nice. How is it? How far of a walk is it to DL? Is there a DL entrance along Katella Avenue?

Thanks in advance?

Yes, we have stayed there - 2 years ago for a 4 night stay. It's not the nicest hotel, to be honest. The soundproofing is next to none, so if you're a light sleep, forget about it. Because it's pretty cheap, there are a lot of younger adults that stay there and they are up late and they are loud. The rooms are common run of the mill rooms. I would compare them to Motel 6. The pool was closed 3 of the 4 days for "cleaning" even though there was never any people/equipment in there cleaning? The staff was really nice - that's about all I can say. It's a fairly short walk (maybe 6-7 minutes) and you have to enter through the main entrance in the front - no side entrance. I would pick another good neighbor hotel if I were you. We've stayed at 6 and the Candy Cane Inn is the best we've stayed at thus far.

Thanks for the tips! I'm looking into the Park Vue Inn or the Desert Inn because I've had good stays at both. I'll have to check into the Candy Cane Inn.
