Which tower at DLH?

I have been looking all over the internet but hope someone here with firsthand experience can help. We have decided to stay onsite at the Disneyland Hotel but would like your advice on which tower to request. I understand that this might be a mute point as they will possibly place us wherever they have room. Our details: a couple in mid 30's with two children- 9 year old and 11 month old. Any help is appreciated. Thanks all.

We stayed in both the Sierra and Marina Towers last year and we loved both. Both times, we had views inwards towards the pool and it was a great view. I wouldn't have a problem with staying in either tower again.

We stayed in the Sierra Tower during our March trip, but we looked out over trees and DCA in the distance. It was a nice view and super-quiet, even during Spring Break.

We have also stayed in the Sierra Tower. First we had a pool view, very noisy. We were then moved to a Downtown Disney view, much better view and the noise was different, we got to hear music instead of screaming kids.

Here's a tip on getting your room request. Check in as early as possible in the morning. I know it is not always convienent to do so but if posssible do so.

I am specifically going to get the earliest flight into John Wayne as possible to be able to check in as early as we can so we can get out room request on our next trip. We have had good luck with this strategy so we are sticking to it

I would definitely recommend the Sierra Tower. You will either have a view of the pool or of DtD/CA. It is very convenient to DtD - especially if you use the back entrance. It is also convenient to the main pool.

Marina Tower is a good pick as well, but if I were placing a request, I would pick Sierra. Be sure to have the request placed on your reservation - it is easier to have them be aware of the request prior to check in than try to get that tower once you arrive.

I also wanted to note that they have pack-n-play in the closets, but you can request a crib in your room from housekeeping if your 11-month old would rather sleep in one.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I have requested the Sierra tower. Hopefully, my family and I will get it.

I had no idea that the towers were different!! How can I tell which one I have, ask my AAA agent? All it says on my itinerary is "upper level view room"...

Good luck! We also have stayed in the Sierra Tower and been very happy with a beautiful view of the pool area. I've heard good thing about both, though. Enjoy your trip!

The tower names have been changed.

The Sierra tower is now the "Dreams" tower.

The Marina tower is now the "Magic" tower

The Bonita tower is now the "Wonder" tower.

I would definitely go with Sierra first then Marina and Bonita last. We had Bonita and enjoyed our stay, but had a view of the parking lot plus had the longest walk to the lobby or the parks.

Sierra runs parallel with Disneyland Dr (so to speak). Marina is perpendicular to this tower, North and a little bit west. Bonita is also perpendicular to Sierra, south and more west. According to Passporter (!), Sierra has the concierge rooms.

I have stayed in both Sierra and Marina. I would pick either, mostly b/c the walk is shorter than from Bonita. I am planning on spending 1 night of my upcoming trip there before moving to GCH.

Because of room reservation mix-ups, we ended up staying in all three towers (albeit briefly) during our two week stay. We spent the majority of that time in the Marina Tower and that is the one I would heartily recommend. We had a standard view room but we were still able to see the fireworks from our room and it was lovely being in the building where all the hotel amenities were located. Frequently a Disney character (usually Goofy but occasionally someone else) would be in the lobby to meet and greet folks there.
