| OK, guys... I need your help big-time. I'd been watching this great deal on the Fairfield Inn on Expedia ($83 or so per night) for a while - and now it's gone. Acck. The price has jumped to $120/night, which is really pushing our price range. So, I'm left with three choices, I think.
We're trying to save money - though I realize that "save money" and "Disney" do not go hand-in-hand. What I need from you guys is informed opinions on:
In fact, I'm kinda getting freaked out. "Help me, Obi Wan Passporter - you're my only hope."

| I think it's worth that much extra for the Candy Cane Inn. We just stayed there last week, and while I paid a few dollars more than my second choice, it was made up for in the fact that breakfast alone would have cost that much. And their breakfast is good, great for kids, fresh and lots of different options for that type of thing. The rooms ( the whole property really) is very, very clean. The staff was wonderful, even went out of their way to check on my super shuttle pick up time, since I was nervous having not used it in a long time. I didn't even ask. The Candy Cane shuttle is very reliable, and the driver was really nice about waiting if he saw a family coming. The driver was really nice, too, we enjoyed our little ride with him. If Grand Californian is not in my budget, which is most of the time:grin: Candy Cane Inn is my second choice, even above the other two Disney Hotels. It even has a bit of Disney feel to it. So, I guess you know my suggestion!

| Have you checked the personal websites for CCI and Portofino? I was looking at Portofino's not too long ago and they had a 4th night free special going on - that was not a special offered on Expedia. | Thanks for the advice, guys. We stayed at Portofino 4 yrs ago - it was nice but a longer walk to the parks than we wanted this time. We've decided on Candy Cane... the combination of the shuttle & the recommendations of so many folks tipped the scale. Also nice: the package cost was $10 cheaper than the off the rack cost, so we get Toontown Morning Madness, too! A big thank you to Suzy from Mouse Ears Travel for all of her help!

| Nice! I don't think you will be disappointed at all. CCI is our favorite offsite hotel by a LONG shot! Enjoy and have fun
