Help me choose.. Desert Inn, Del Sol Inn or Hojo

My best friend is getting married in a few months and my son (his God Son) can't go to the bachelor party. As a result, the three guys are going to head to Disneyland in March for 5 days for a pre-bachelor party. I would like to hear from anyone who has stayed at these hotels and curious on a recommendation. We would like something clean and close to the park (walking distance) but it doesn't need to be that fancy. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

i would recommend the Desert Inn. We stayed there in August of 2006 and felt it was very close, clean and just the right size for 3 people (we got a parlor suite A). We were next to the elevator which made me cringe at first, but we never heard it. We could see the DL fireworks from our back window, and they also have a viewing deck on the roof. We'd go to Denny's next door for breakfast, even though they had a continental one at the hotel - not too much to that, but ok if you don't need alot or have plans for lunch.

I would stay there again when I go next month, but I elected to use DVC points to stay at GCH.
