Question Best standard rooms at GC?

We have two nights booked at the Grand Californian. We have just a standard room, but are there any you recommend requesting that might "add to the magic"?

We had a standard room facing the monorail. From the balcony, we had a nice view of the entrance to the park and DTD

I am staying there late next month in a standard view. I think I was advised at another message board to request a "courtyard" room. I have my notes at home (booked using DVC points, so I booked it thru them). I don't think it is noted on the ressie, however. The guy was too busy being "chatty" - it was weird.

We overlooked the monorail/courtyard once and the main entrance of the hotel once. Both views were nice, but I think I'm partial to watching the monorail zip by the room.

We also had a courtyard view when we stayed there. It was nice and quiet watching the Monorail like Tink and co. said is fun.
