| Paradise Piers or Disneyland Hotel??? I'm a DVC member and will be using points for our 2-night stay at Disneyland...the points for a standard view at either hotel (Paradise Piers or Disneyland Hotel) is only a difference of 1 point....in your honest opinion, which would you choose to stay at for 2 nights (there will be 4 adults and a 2 yr old...walking not an issue for any of us). Thanks!

| We used our DVC points to stay at the Disneyland Hotel and loved it. It's the original hotel at Disneyland and is just full of lovely Disney touches, including the images of some of the most famous rides on the bedspread. We weren't sure about it when we booked, but I can thoroughly recommend it. It was a very good use of our points.

| Any of the resorts are great. I really enjoyed Paradise Pier with the theme park view. I watched the Electric Light Parade from my room, and just really enjoyed looking over DCA during the night. The eerie TOT, etc... DH is the classic. GC is fantastic, and the bunk bed room is fun.

| The Grand Californian would be my first choice (after all it's now considered Disney's primer hotel at DL)...then DLH. DLH has always been a favorite of mine. If you stay here, be sure to open the drapes during the day so that the pixie dust sparkles at night. If you have time definately check both hotels. White Water Snacks at GCH is a great on-the-go place to eat at close to their pool. Another great dining option is the Storyteller's Cafe...good food and during breakfast great character interaction. At the DLH Goofy's Kitchen is very cute (also great character interaction) and the Neverland Pool Area and koi ponds are beautiful to look at. For a great dinner the Napa Rose (GCH) or Steakhouse 55 (DLH). Some of the rooms at DLH are a little more dated, and the rooms at GCH tend to be a little smaller. However some of DLH rooms have already been renovated. IMHO you can't go wrong with either hotel. To me the Paradise Pier Hotel would be my last choice. At any rate have a great time!! |

| I would definitely opt for the Disneyland Hotel. We had a fabulous stay here, so much so that we're going to use our DVC points to stay there again in December/2009. Joy

| The Disneyland Hotel is great. I've only stayed there once, and Paradise Pier once. DLH is a slightly shorter walk, but we ended up with an awesome view of the ferris wheel at DCA when we stayed at Paradise Pier. If it were up to me tho, it'd be DLH. And while you're there, check out the "Lost Bar" Very fun, chill bar on site there! Always have a blast when we go there!

| We stayed at DLH first time, then GC next two times. DLH was fine when DD was little. However, once she got to the point of liking most of the rides in CA, GC worked out better (DH would head back to the room for a rest while DD and I did the rides he doesn't really enjoy). Having the hotel guest entrance to CA was perfect for zipping in and out of the park. |
