| I don't know about any of the other hotels, as we only stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, but we had a lovely view from the concierge lounge of the fireworks. I would imagine that some of the rooms below it (the lounge is in the Sierra Tower, facing towards the Disneyland parks) would also have good views as well.

| At Grand Californian, only the Downtown Disney view rooms have much of a glimpse of the fireworks. It can be nice, but since the rooms are only a few stories up, there are often trees blocking part of the view. At Disneyland Hotel, you need a Park View room to see anything. At Paradise Pier the view of the fireworks will be most distant. You'll need a Park View room, of course, and it'll be off at an angle to the left as you look through the windows (no balconies, which might have made viewing easier). Among the Good Neighbor hotels, the Howard Johnson (park view rooms best, or the parking lot works, too) is the closest to the action/view. Hotel Menage, right across I-5 from the fireworks launch zone, can also deliver good views, if you're in a south-facing location. (You don't need a "view" room there, since it has open-air "hallways" open to all). Various of the low-rise hotels/motels in the Ball Rd./Disneyland Dr. area also have excellent proximity to the launch zone, but I have no experience with them to be able to report on the views.
