| Bunk beds at Grand Californian When we stayed at WDW's Wilderness Lodge several years ago, our travel agent told us that bunk beds were only available in preferred view rooms. Is this also the case at the Grand Californian? Also, is it possible to confirm a room with bunk beds, or it simply listed as a request? We're trying to budget our DVC points for a stay next year. I normally go for the standard view because we don't spend much time staring out the window. However, my kids are excited at the thought of bunk beds (the alternative is one sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag, because they're both restless sleepers and could not share a bed). I'd be willing to spend the extra points for a pool or park view if it made getting bunks more likely. Thanks, Melissa

| Hmmm, I don't know. We got our bunkbeds at AKL through a fluke, but we'd booked savannah rooms anyway - so I don't know if that's the case. At AKL, they charged more for it, so I think that if you reserve it you get it. But it could be different for GC - we stay off-site at DL.

| We stayed At GC last year. We had a standard view room with one queen and bunk beds. When I made the reservations the CM gave me the option of 2 queens or queen with bunk beds.

| Thanks! My husband tried calling DVC last week to reserve a room, but were told that they wouldn't have access to Disneyland Resort reservations for 2009 until August 15. So, we will call on Friday and try to book a standard view room with bunk beds. Melissa
