| Walikng from Downtown Disney to Off site hotel late at night - How safe is it? Sorry I just get a little paranoid when I am visiting some where new. We are staying at the HOJO and I am sure we will be out pretty late in one of the parks / or down town disney - Lets say the park closes at 12am, and we are slow and hit some of the last minute shops - wait in line for our packages etc. so it's now 1am..... how safe is the walk back to our hotel? Thanks any advice or words of comfort are appreciated |

| We've left the parks/DTD many times that late and crossed the street to one of the Harbor Blvd. Hotels. There are still plenty of people about usually, and most of them tourists like you! ![]()

| There's tons of Disney security at Downtown and as you walk out to Harbor Blvd. Harbor is a very busy street, very well illuminated, and very well patrolled by the police.

| I stay at the Econolodge Main Gate (870 S Harbor Blvd) when I go to DL which is at least once a year. Everyone else is correct it's a very busy and well lit street with many hotels, restaurants and businesses along it. Some of the Anaheim resorts have gone in together to create ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) it's not free but you can buy a day pass for $3 that lets you ride as much as you want (at many hotels not on the buses) or multi-day passes from the website (great service) and they pick up/drop off at or near alot of hotels and take you to DL. |

We stayed at the Hojos last Summer. As many said there are plenty of guest heading back to their hotels too. Just a note about Hojo's .. it was a great hotel to stay at. I had requested/paid for a upper floor with a Disney view. You don't want to get a room facing the highway as you will hear traffic all night long.

| We have stayed at Super 8 on Katella and walked home most night after park closing - no problem at all. Well lit streets and a late night pizza place on the corner- that's all you need!

| When we were down at DLR the last time, we stayed off site and walked back to our hotel fairly late at night from Downtown Disney more than once and felt perfectly safe while doing so. There were tons of people around and the roads and streets were well lit. Joy
