| Are you just going to DL and DCA??? If so then 8 days will be too much IMO

| 8 days at DLH is not too much (your title made me jealous!), but 8 days for just DLR is probably going to be too much. You have a couple options, though, rather than reducing your trip: - We spend 4 days, easy, in the park; 2 days in DL, 1 day in DCA and 1 day catching repeats and missed stuff in both. 5 is not unheard of. You don't have to buy a ticket for every day you are there. - Are you the type who likes to spend a day or two at the hotel? You can spend time relaxing at the resort and enjoying the amenities. - If you are willing to rent a car (or use shuttles, if applicable), there are so many site-seeing things to do that you can base out of Anaheim like touring Hollywood, LaBrea Tar Pits, going to Universal Studios or Knott's Berry Farm, spending a day at the beach (I recommend Newport Beach, which is 20 minutes from Disneyland and beautiful), etc.

| I agree, it's not too long at the Disneyland Hotel - it's a lovely resort, but it's too long if you just plan on visiting the parks. If you plan on seeing more of LA and other parks, then eight nights will be fine.

| We've done 6 days and never left the resort but there are tours you can book at the front desk to Hollywood without having to rent a car. There are shuttles you can take to Knotts Berry Farm. Plus there is a trolley for the Anaheim area. We Love the DL hotel. Goofy's Kitchen is great fun and the pool is really nice.

| Remeber too that there are tours down here to San Diego as well. We have the world famous San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Sea World and a great Balboa Park. You can purchase a Southern California Pass which would include many entertainment areas in and around DLR including those in San Diego and Hollywood. |

| You'll have more than enough time to see all of DL and DCA, so be sure to have ideas for other things to do while you're out there.
