| I can't remember exactly where the Denny's is, but I think it's right about next door (if I've got the right address of 1700 Harbor Blvd - I google mapped it). If not, it's close and there's an IHOP right at the crosswalk that takes you into the plaza. I highly recommend IHOP over Captain Kidds (right next door) even though there is probably a price difference. Capt. Kidds has never impressed us (we stay next door to them at a Best Western). There's also a Tony Roma's right there where you are and a McDonald's further up the street past the crosswalk light. Edited: I just followed a link that w-steele put on another post: Bret's Disneyland Lodging LinkMap You'll see that you are right below Disney Way. All of the restaurants are in a smaller red font.

| Thanks Heather for posting that web site link. Fred, if you go to the link Heather posted you will see that there are 7 different places to eat all within walking distance of your hotel. I would, however, recommend that you do NOT go to Captian Kidd's as it is the most disappointing place I've ever had the bad experience of eating at. The food is 3rd rate in my opinion and the prices are too high for the caliber of food. However Tony Roma's, Denny's and IHOP are all nice places. If you don't mind a short walk to get an outstanding meal, walk south on Harbour to Katella and go left about one long block. You'll come to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., 321 W Katella Ave (714-635-4867). This is totally out of sight. Last edited by w-steele; 01-08-2009 at 10:10 PM.. |

| I've stayed there before, when I couldn't get a room at one of the closer places. The walk wasn't bad. When they say near Disneyland entrance, they are talking about the parking entrance. The actual entrance to the parks would be a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel is across the street from the Tower of Terror. I got a good rate, and it was a decent room. Nothing special. I was on the ground floor, and I had a fenced patio. This is a good play area for kids. It's an easy walk to several food options, and a fairly quick walk to Garden Walk The Shops at Anaheim GardenWalk | Shopping, Dining, Entertainment in Orange County If you go the back way down Disney Way, it's a real quick walk. There are several restaurants on Katella in the Garden Walk, but I prefer to go this back way and walk through the open mall Vs walking on Harbor/Katella. I would consider staying here again if I couldn't get a room at Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites.
