| How Good/Bad is Tropicana? Are we in for trouble? We booked Tropicana because 1. we couldn't get Best Western and 2. My DH didn't want DD & I to be walking "alone" a great distance from the parks. So, Tropicana was available and that's what we took. Is the place TERRIBLE? I see two stars on Expedia and heard a good/bad about it. Please tell me! I want my DD & my B'day trip to be pain free!

| We had a good stay there. The room was clean and quiet(and had a microwave and refrigerator), and the location couldn't be beat! I wouldn't advise planning on eating the free breakfast. Moldy muffins and extra $ for things like milk and cereal. We wound up stopping at the little on-site store and getting some quick and inexpensive breakfast items. I'd stay there again if the price was right. ![]()

| I stayed there on a solo trip and it is right across the street from Disney. ALso if you take the Bus from JWA , the bus stop to drop you off and pick you up from the Airport is right there in front of the hotel. I found the room clean, quiet. I had a room with a balcony right in front, facing the street. It was nice. THe pool is nothing great, but I did not use it anyway. I wanted to be in the Parks.

| Thanks! Thanks. I feel better about our choice. We'd stayed at Camelot last year and I was not greatly impressed. So, though it's not the Grand Californian, it sound like it would be clean. And as far as breakfast is concerned, we prefer to grab a treat from DRL before coming home and bring our own tea bags and such. One month and we're gone!!!! Yippee Skippee!

| We love the Tropicana. That is where we usually stay when we can't afford to be onsite. We don't eat the breakfast so that part doesn't bother us but the rooms are clean and neat and the location is great! Have fun!
