| Just an FYI - I checked the rates at Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites at 1600 S. Harbor Blvd, and it was $109 on July 28/29. I'm not sure how much you paid, but this place is JUST across the street from DLR, and is actually closer than the Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier Hotel. S. Harbor in the 1500-1700 range are your best bets for a close walk. Other places may appear close, but they are worse than they appear. There is a McD's, and other fast food places on Harbor, so you can get a cheaper meal outside the parks. I look at proximity to the front gate. Many hotels will be "1 block away" from the DLR, but they are counting the edge of the property, and you might have a 1/2 mile + walk to actually get to the entrance. But maybe you will be close to the parking lot trams, which will help your travels. (But they are a mess at night right after a parade or other event ends, so we've been walking back to the parking lot to avoid the mess. I'd rather be walking then standing in a crowd for 15-20 minutes!)

| our rate with tax is 87 and some change for the one night, since its only one night, and they do have a shuttle, we dont mind walking either. but I did look at that hotel I may switch and just pay for it up front on one of those hotel sites |
