| Park Vue Inn Does anyone have any answers to this? I bought the 2009 Unofficial Guide to Disneyland and was wondering why the Park Vue Inn wasn't listed. Do they not consider the Park Vue as a "Good Neighbor Hotel"? My husband & I are thinking about staying there. |

| It was a few years back but I don't believe it is anymore. I have stayed there twice . . . once when it was an EconoLodge in the mid-90s and then once in 2005. It was a fine place to stay if you don't mind running into the other people in your room as you try to move and if you just need a place to sleep for a couple of hours. haha I probably wouldn't stay there again unless I am on a tight budget though . . . I didn't sleep much my last stay there due to the thin walls and ceilings and super hard beds and the rooms were REALLY tiny. ![]() I much prefer the Carousel Inn anymore. ![]()

| Park Vue lost it's "Good Neighbor" status a few years back I am told due to complaints to the Disney Corp such as those stated above. Not all hotels/motels in the DLR area qualify for this status for whatever reasons. We usually stay at the Super 8 on Katella Ave and they are not in this group but are still a very nice place to stay up for a day or two. Hotels and motels in this area must meet certain standards set by Disney to be included on thier list, such as AAA requires certain standards for thier ratings. It is now 5:30am, Mar 8th, and my DW and I are staying across the street from Disneyland at the Ramada Inn Maingate, and like it here, infact, we were here, at the R I M just a month ago, Jan 30th, and I can not recount the number of stays we've had here in the past. Our favorites are here at the Ramada, the Super 8 on Katella and the Motel 6, formerly the Red Roof Inn. We've stayed at many others but these are our 'repeaters' you might say. |

| I just looked at their website and they still have the "good neighbor" logo on it, though the Disneyland website doesn't list them.... I wonder if Disney knows they are still advertising as if they were?

| When I stayed there in '05 they had all the Good Neighbor advertising in the rooms but Disney did not acknowledge them as a Good Neighbor hotel. Unless they have been brought back into the fold, so to speak, and Disney just hasn't put them back on the website (which would be odd becuase Disney keeps their websites pretty well up to date) . . . methinks the hotel is advertising something they probably should not be. ![]()
