Questions about the Grand Californian

Hi there,
Our family is going to DL in June and staying at the Grand Californian. We stayed there 4 years ago and remember they offered a "before opening" trip to Build-a-Bear and the tour of the hotel. Previous posts have mentioned a "power walk" through DCA before it opens. Does anyone know of other tours they offer to the people staying at the resort hotel? I have 2 teenage daughters (one is wheelchair disabled) and was wondering if the hotel had anything for them.

Thanks

Gosh, I did some looking and I couldn't find any references to special guest tours, but perhaps if you call guest services @ Hotels of the DisneylandŽ Resort
(714) 956-6425 they can answer any questions you may have!

I'm not aware of anything like that.

We just got back from our stay at the Grand Californian - there is a flyer they give out each week titled "Weekly Grand Adventures". During our week they offered a "Power Walk" through California Adventure at 7:30am before it opens, "Pilates" on days not offering the power walk, "Washcloth Creations" where you learn how to make animals out of washcloths - and you get to take them home!, "Build-a-Bear Workshop" where you get to go to the store 1 hour before it opens - there was only one other family besides us in the store, "Beauty Basics at Sephora" - this is also done before the store opens, "Learn to Draw Mickey Mouse Class" - Mickey signs your artwork and it is mailed home to you, "The Grand Quest" - hunt out clues around the hotel, and "Art of the Craft Tour" - tour of the hotel. If you can fit them in your schedule, these are a lot of fun to do.
