La Quinta - Anaheim

We are going to DL in June 2012 and i have been trying to find hotels. Only been once 4 years ago and dont remember where we stayed. But now, i get a discount at la quinta hotels. There is one on S. Clementine in Anaheim and they have a shuttle (the website says).......has anyone stayed here?? How far is it or is that street not a close enough street? Is it a nice area???
Others hotels we have looked at are the howard johnson or the sheraton anaheim......my husband woukd like a nice hotel, not too noisy. Many hotels seem older...have no clue about this area. Any help would be appreciated????? Thanks!!!!!!

We stayed here the first week of Dec (2011) and it is a basic, no frills La Quinta. The Cheesecake Factory and Anaheim Garden walk are directly across the street. It was a nice area and we walked to the parks both days and back both nights at 10 pm or later no worries. We had our two daughters in tow ( 10 and 16). Again the hotel is a place to sleep , neat and clean but older. Hope this helps :-)

There are a lot of good neighboor hotels by Disneyland so I'd expand your search a little bit, it never hurts to have options. La Quinta is very "bare bones" everywhere and if you want a comfy bed...keep looking!
I have a list of Disneyland good neighboor hotels somewhere, let me take a look...

Here is a good list of all the Good Neighbor hotels, complete with addresses, websites, and some amenities (such as complimentary breakfasts, wifi, etc): Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels

If you plug the addresses into a site such as Bing Maps - Driving Directions, Traffic and Road Conditions it will show you the proximity to Disneyland.

Thanks for all the help....we ended up booking at the Sheraton Park, since I was able to use my mother's time share points, to help save some money. This one sounds nice, so hopefully it will be good. But since we got it for a great price, I guess I can't complain too much! Can't wait until June!!!!!
