Walking from Paradise Pier to Monorail & Downtown Disney

I think we are going to get to stay at Paradise Pier for our upcoming trip! How do you walk from PP to the monorail or downtown Disney? Do you walk up next to the DLH? or have to walk through the Grand California hotel or am I turned around.

So excited for this trip!

thanks!

You can either walk north to the DLH and then on into DTDand on to either park OR you can cross the street and walk thru the Grand and either out into DTD or enter DCA. Neither way is a bad way however going thru the Grand may prove to be the shortest route of the two.

We found going through the grand to be the quickest and easiest route.

That is the route I would take as well but wanted to give them a second choice too. If one had never been inside of the Grand, that route would prove to be interesting to say the least. The beauty of the hotel lobby is enough to excite and amase most.

Hi-- We had a great time. For going to the monorail, it seemed almost more convenient to just walk out the back of PP and around that traffic circle area up to DTD (heading towards DLH way.) When we went to the parks, we went through GCH. Also the PP pool was closed so we were going to DLH for their pool and had already walked that way a few times. It was so great to stay at a DH again!
