Any one know what is going on at the Ramada (At the Park)?
We have decided to go back to Disneyland this summer. We haven't been there since 2003. I really would like to stay at the Ramada -Maingate at the Park (1650 S Harbor). I have read good reviews about it and I think many people here have raved about it.
But I have gone directly to Ramada's website to get rates and to possible book a reservation but it seems to be booked - for the entire summer! I am somewhat flexible with my dates, we haven't nailed down the dates exactly anyway. I haven't called them to see what is going on.
Does anyone here know why the website would say " Sorry dates for this property are not available" for the entire summer. Incidentally, it says the same thing for the scuzzy Maingate North Ramada.
Here's our current website for the Ramada Maingate at 1650 S. Harbor in Anaheim which carries the notation to Make A Reservation today and the moving advertisement across the top that indicates See Our Specials. (every 3rd or 4th move.)
I assume that you can now plan/make your reservations.
We are staying there this April, it will be our 2nd time there- last Sep 2008... We loved it, across the street from the park - w/ in walking distance. Breakfast included, so that helps out alot, none of the Disney Hotels offer breakfast. Its a really nice place and has tons of Palm trees. I booked our week thru Disney w/ the package deal. I was also looking for the last week of June and it was booked out, but had some dates open for the 1st week of July. Good luck....
WE were there in December and I was told since I have a wheelchair travel web site I was going to get that hotel on my web site but they told me to hold off since they will be renovating it soon. So, it might be that some of the building on the lot will be close down for the renovating. I know they should say that as well. I hope this help I do have pic of the hotel now if any one interested in see what it look like.
