Re: Anyone stay at Park Place Inn or Desert Inn and Suites lately?

We used to always stay at the Desert Inn and Suites, but the last was 2003. We were always happy with the HUGE rooms, and my kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The staff was always very nice and very helpful. And you just couldn't beat the price. We once payed $49 a night for a suite! Be warned though, the accomadations are basic. The lobby is the nicest part of the whole place. Our rooms were always clean, though, and we never had any problems with any of our stays here. If you want a decent place to shower and sleep, this is a good spot. Oh, and the location can't be beat (except by the Grand!).

I stayed at the Desert Inn on May 2005. It is a basic hotel. The room was pretty clean and decent. The hotel is on a small piece of property, so most of the parking is in an underground garage.
