Nemo waits these days?

I was just wondering if anyone had been to DL recently and whether the waits for Nemo Submarine Voyage are still as crazy as they were just after it opened or whether it's starting to calm down now? Anyone know?

We're leaving for California on Friday night, Cheryl. Remind me when I get back (Just in case this post gets buried while we're away) and I'll let you know how things were.

Yes the lines are just as crazy, not only is it new, it is a very fun and exciting ride. I do believe if you go early, go there first you'll be fine. We checked back close to closing time, and it was crazy long. I don't think a lot of those people were going to get on.

We were there the first week of January and a few days before Valentines.
In January we rushed to Nemo 1st thing in the morning and there was already an hour and a 1/2 wait so we decicded to skip it. We happened to walk by later that evening durning the parade and the line said it was only a 50 min wait. I asked the CM if she thought i should try coming back in the morning or go now and she said, " Go now! Everyone rushes over early in the morning and the lines are longer especially if it's early entry day ." So we went on during the parade. Ever though they said 50 min we only waited about 30 min.
In Feburary we went on a Tues and the park was empty. Nemo posted a 45 min wait, but I noticed the line was much much shorter than our Jan. visit so we went and only waited 22 min. While we were in line we noticed the line was getting shorter and the CM were shortening the ques. It was about 1/2 and hour befor closing.

Thanks for the feedback guys - I'll keep my fingers crossed that the wait times do go down significantly by the time we visit in October, but at least I now have some idea of what to expect.

We just got back from DLR last night, Cheryl. The lines for Nemo were ALWAYS dauntingly long. We rode it once on our early entry day, but we didn't make it back to the ride until 8:20am as the ticket lines outside the park did not move smoothly going into the park When we got there, the wait was 1 hour & 10 minutes and it was exactly that. The wait was worth it, but we didn't do it again.

Last Saturday (2/23), during the day, the lines were still quite long. We went back about 9 pm and were in line 35-40 minutes. The time passed quickly since "Reunion" was playing on the Tomorrowland Stage. The entertainment was great which put all the other guests in line in a friendly mood.

Our wait on both Wednesday and Thursday of this week was 30 minutes each. They let us keep Alexander in his stroller for most of the queue, which was really helpful.

My receptionist was just there on Friday 02-22-08, and she said the line at noon was 75 minutes long. I don't care - when I go this weekend, I am waiting!!

I asked about the ride getting Fast Passes when we were there in March. We were told it probably wasn't going to happen.

I went on Nemo on Wednesday-the line was very long at opening, so we waited and came back in the afternoon-the wait was only 30 minutes.

I just got back and wasn't planning to go on Nemo. The wait said 45 minutes, but the line looked shorter than it had before and the wait time had been the same.

I made it on in about 25 minutes. It was a pretty slow Monday andlate afternoon.

I will give the CM's a lot of credit. Although there was a line for those with wheelchairs, etc. , they were pretty fair about not giving them complete access to the front of the line. I don't know if only certain boats were accessible, but those in the handicapped line, still had a bit of a wait.

I enjoyed the attraction but am not sure I would wait more than a half hour for it.

We go to DL several times a year since we live 3 hours away. We feel that the line is getting much shorter than when it first opened. Last summer it was 2 1/2 - 3 hours in the afternoon and we waited 1 hr & 15 min. near closing time last June. We have gotten on as quick as 15 minutes first thing in the morning recently. If you qualify for Early Entry - be at the gate early and head there first - if you don't then head there first on a Non-Early Entry Day.
